Our stay in Anna Maria is winding down. We have enjoyed the weather, even when it is cool for this area, or raining, it has been pleasant. I finally took a swim in the Gulf for 35 minutes. It was wonderful. In the nice weather, we have had the chance to ride our bikes around too. Lots to explore.
Here you will see photos of conchs, more sunsets, the Brompton bikes in Florida, and more.

Sarasota and Anna Maria Florida: Ringling Museum and More Sunsets
Yesterday we had a lovely lunch at Muse, the restaurant at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. The evening before I took some nice sunset photos on the beach. I am including photos from both here.
Then, this morning, I went to the Anna Maria Island Radio station and was interviewed about my poems, my blog, and my video work. I am including a link to the interview right here.

Anna Maria Florida and Environs
We are still traveling around Anna Maria. Yesterday we took a tour of downtown Anna Maria, to see how they have installed solar panels widely in their historic district. Today we drove out to Gulfport to see a dear friend. Unfortunately, the winds were so strong, the only bridge to St. Petersburg from here was closed, and we have to drive around to Tampa to get there, many more miles and much more time. Luckily we were still able to meet up with my old friend for lunch at Pia's Trattoria. It was lovely Italian food. The best mussels I have had, possibly ever. On the way back, I caught some cliche sunsets. Here are some of the photos.
