Well, autumn is in full swing here on the lake. Many summer folks are gone already and docks are winched up. The leaves are slow to change still but the views of the mountainsides on the east side of the lake are very colorful. Plus of course the golden hour light of early evening is beautiful.
We headed to Scotland at the end of September for close to 2 weeks and walked the Rob Roy Way from town to town. I have lots of photos here from the walk and I hope you enjoy some of these. The colors were beautiful.
On poetry news, I gave a public reading my my prize-winning poem, "Pat Schroeder Was Our Mother," and here is a link to the reading that starts when I read, and goes for about 3 minutes at most. I hope you enjoy it. And here is a link to the poem in print.
I finally released a new video that talks about the bimini (awning) we made for our solar-powered houseboat, "Wake with the Sun." Here's the link:

A Trip to Scotland
All of a sudden (within three weeks of the trip) we found ourselves going to Scotland to join some friends walking the Rob Roy Way. This is a trail of approximately 80 miles and we walked from town to town while our luggage was taxied from town to town, arriving at our hotel when we'd arrive. The landscape was very colorful and we saw many waterfalls and a few rainbows. And of course lots of sheep.
We also spent some time cycling in Edinburgh and Pitlochry, both times on e-bikes. And we had a day to walk around the city of Edinburgh. Here are my photos. I hope you enjoy some of these.
